Q Unit 4.1 Discussion: Agenda Setting
Explain agenda setting. Select a public policy and then analyze the genesis of that public policy by applying Dr. John Kingdon’s Multiple Streams public policy model.
Hello Professor and Class, Agenda setting is basically a process in which a group of people present a topic and then set an agenda, which means they list down the points chronologically according to their importance, and these were also called a goal of the team. The basic purpose of setting agenda is to know the goals and the process of creating the agenda narrows a range of potential topics to the group that actually receives attention. This list of issues or topics that government officials and those closely connected to them outside of government are paying significant attention to at any time (Andrew, 2022).
